Skeletor is the primary antagonist in the Masters of the Universe franchise. Depicted as a muscular humanoid with a blue skin tone and a skull for a head, Skeletor is obsessed with conquering Eternia and gaining access to Castle Grayskull, believing it holds the key to ultimate power.
His origins vary across different iterations of the franchise. Some versions portray him as Keldor, the estranged brother of King Randor, who was transformed into Skeletor following a failed attempt to overthrow his brother. He leads an army of evil warriors, including Beast Man, Evil-Lyn, and Trap Jaw, in his constant battles against He-Man and the heroic Masters.
Skeletor's first appearance was in the Masters of the Universe minicomics that came packaged with the original toy line in 1981. He is voiced by Alan Oppenheimer in the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon.
